DIY: J.Crew Heart Sweater

I instantly fell in love with this sweater from J.Crew (like most things I see at J.Crew). So, I decided to recreate my own version, especially since it's no longer available online (in any of the three colors).

I too fell in love with this sweater---but really? $90 for something you can totally make? Thanks a million for sharing! I only hope it's a fraction as adorable on me as it is you!

Love the sweater, but love you nail polish even more! Did you later a gold flake polish over black? Which polishes did you use?

so glad i found your DIY post via Pinterest! i'm already planning out how i'm going to do mine, but I was wondering if you tried to find 100% wool felt or a smaller % wool mixed with rayon or something. Also, do you know how wash/dry safe yours is? I'm hoping mine will last a while :) Thanks so much and I will definitely keep looking back at your blog for future DIYs and other inspiration! :)

I used a piece of pre-washed wool felt (available at most quilting stores) only to prevent it from pilling once I washed it. I have also washed mine a couple of times and it is still in great shape. I wash it in the washing machine under the hand wash setting. Good luck!
